ABOUT THE INSTITUTION

Kopargaon Taluka Vidyarthi Sahayyak Samiti, Kopargaon has opened the Law college in Kopargaon, Keepping in mind the law awareness of the area.From The Academic Year 2007 - 2008. The institution is very Well - known for its distinguished projects.

On 25 June, 2007, Law College was inaugurated by honourable M.L.A., Ex. Minister Shri. Radhakrishnaji Vikhe Patil, Late Shri. Jayantraoji Sasane Saheb, (President, Shri. Saibaba Sansthan Trust, Shirdi.) Other dignitaries were Hon. Ex. Minister Shri. Shankarraoji Kolhe Saheb and Shri. Rajesh Aba Parjane Patil And other distinguished personalities.

1) To reorient legal education by making provision for sufficient opportunity to the students for extensive as well as intensive study of law.
2) To equip the students with (a) knowledge of law, (b) practical application of law, (c) analytical thinking and logical reasoning, (d) effective communication skill.
3) To meet the needs of contemporary requirements of Bar, Bench and Industry in the globalised economic era.
4) To educate them of diverse backgrounds to become effective, ethical and expert personage who are employable in a variety of legal settings. LAW COURSE The LL.B. or B.A. LL.B.course or any other course leading to the university degree or diploma under the Faculty of Law of the University of Pune is NOTan external course.
Every student undergoing any such course, therefore, must keep terms as per University rules and to the satisfaction of the Principal.
All the departments - ( Gymkhana, Library, Hostel, Debating, Moot Court ,Legal Aid Clinic etc.) will work according to rules made on that behalf by the management.
